Yeah, remember how fucking brutal last winter was? Not just snow on the road,but ice. A few times I lost control of my car and almost slammed into a concrete divider on a bridge. And got stuck up the driveway and had to basically spend the night breaking the ice with a shovel.
I think I might call off work tommorow. I don't care what they think, I don't know if I'm cool with risking my life to sell clothes at a shitty department store.

Western Pennsylvania. You would think considering we're at the same latitude as southern Spain that the weather would be mild.

Yeah. I drive very carefully in the snow, and nothing like that has happened to me with my car, aside of some minor scary moments that it looked like I was about to lost the control, but I ended up controlling the situation (when the car slides, not pushing the break, and let the car go, and when the car starts sliding less, push the break very gently and at small intervals). However, last winter, a woman who lost the control of her vehicle on a street corner, hit mine, on the driver's door. Her car left a dent on my car door. Nothing important, just a small dent, but I didn't give it much importance, because my car was already a piece of junk, and I just let her go.

Edit: Now that I remember, it wasn't this last winter, but the previous winter. Last winter was "very mild" compared to most other winters.

Here(in SP) when the temperatures drop below 15C many people will start wearing the same kind of clothing you see people wearing in places that are as cold as Etain's hometown...last winter was tough,there were days when temperatures reached 3C in the city's most urbanized areas(that are usually 3-2 degrees hotter than the areas of the city that are less urbanized and further away from the city's densest areas),it was the coldest winter I can remember of!

Same here, tonight it's 10º and i'm already bitching and with the heating on. Rarely drops below 5º anyway.
