Imo it is a competition between Japan beating South Africa in the Rugby World Cup, and Iceland beating England in the Euro Football Cup.

France lost in semi final of the world petanque championship against Benin. It was a true disapointment as we won the competition 10 times in a row.

Last November, Ireland beat New Zealand and Italy beat South Africa in rugby. During the Six Nations, practically an identical Irish team to the one that beat New Zealand nevertheless lost to a Wales team in decline and Scotland who are, well, Scotland.
