Even though, this Atlanto-Med is surely closer to Atlantid than to Pontid phenotype, considering "evolution" of phenotype in western/south western Europe.

One of really rare examples of what should be (in my opinion) true Pontid, he is not Nord Pontid, his eyes are brown, but still has a lot of other traits from Nord Pontid. We can argue here or not, but take a good look at this guy and nowone of you will ever confuse PONTID (true PONTID) with Eastern-Med.

I agree to some degree with you, but Pontids can be found in majority of South-Eastern Europe. The problem which I have when someone classify some Greek as Pontid, It's usually (not always, but I saw many cases) some sort of symbiot between eastern-Med and Pontid, or even pure eastern-Med, and we can agree that those two types are very different, stable phenotypes.

So it is an umbrella term. Similarly it was used as a broad east-med type by other anthropologists.

Only on TA i hear of Atlanto-meds in Greece. Mostly likely dark North Pontids.

Basic whites are what I call atlanto-med Greeks.
