By cultural and economic standarts, Greece is not even "Balkan" it has a very low crime rate(compared to other Balkan countries) stable GDP, economic growth and overall good infrastructure.

Croatia is detaching from Balkan every day as we speak, the country has a growing general wage, GDP high plus internal production and excellent infrastructure.

The region has only one black sheep though.
