    Default The Random Thoughts/Notes Thread

The new Regular MacBooks aren’t worth it because it only has one USB-C port. One could argue that you can switch between charging the laptop and connecting it to something like a flash drive simply because you’ve got strong battery life. What happens over time when the battery starts to die? One could argue that by the time the battery starts to die, the life of the device/laptop would expire. What if it doesn’t?

By the way, this is how I know quantum physics is real.

One could also argue that one could buy a hub and sure, but wouldn’t that be somewhat of a drag? In addition, you’d actually have to spend more money when it’s simply just better to get the new MacBook Pro for just a couple of hundred dollars more (from where I’m located in the USA).

With regard to the quantum physics mentioned earlier, perhaps another angle to look at this would be say for example, some electronic device is supposed to last 5 years but it breaks or malfunctions in a couple of years even when you take good care of it.

Is it even possible to construct or make two computer screens that are exactly identical using the exact same engineering methods?

Is magic and the mysterious real?

Unless one is a weed smoking navy officer, then flying submarines are everywhere.

Based on the 28.2% of participants who had died during follow-up, the scientists found that, for the most part, political partly affiliation didn’t matter all that much between the two rival parties, although Independents were less likely to die than Democrats.

“With political party affiliation, I was surprised that being independent was protective, in a way,” Pabayo said. “I did expect Republicans to live longer.”

Results: Self-proclaimed conservatives and moderates were 6% more likely to die during follow-up than self-proclaimed liberals with otherwise similar traits, including age, sex and socioeconomic status. When sorted by party, Republicans and Democrats had similar death rates; independents had lower death rates.
