A particular criticism against The Alt-Right has to do with hyper-masculinity and so I think liberals or those who concur with such a viewpoint are looking at The Alt-Right from a macro-level instead of a micro-level. Yes, it is true that most people of the world possess or has retained the masculine energy or the masculine line of thought and so the misconception here has to do with White nations where there is a loss of masculinity not retainment of masculinity. When one does a Google search on the internet about CIA informants in China being killed, it seems like there is no hesitation or the suffering of that like PTSD.
