No, there was no sexual intercourse. Jesus was supposedly created through the holy spirit entering Mary's ear canal. Jesus, the second person of the Trinity, according to Christianity, existed before his body was born. I know it sounds paradoxical, but many Christians believe in Jesus having always existed, since the beginning. And the Gospel of John starts by saying nothing was created by God except through the logos (representing Jesus Christ).
