My family look very Anatolian Turk. I would say most are mixes of Dinarid and Turanic (the eyes) I posted picture of my grandpa before here and he was classified as dinarid.

Crimean Tatars tend to look more Turanid / Central Asian with some European input (again depends) compared to the average Anatolian Turk, I can't talk for each and one Crim Tatar though.

I referred with them. Their dialect was officially made Crimean Tatar language as you know by Gasprinskiy etc. It's why their language has similarities with Turkish today.

Yaliboylu are not big population of whole Crimean Tatar nationality only 15% or so. So to say the whole people are related to Anatolian Oghuz Turks is wrong.

Crimeans are partly descent of Türkmens of Anatolia from 13th century immigration from Asia minor to south Ukraine after invite by Golden Horde Mongol elite (Berke) also their language adapted to Turkish.So they are closer to Anatolian Türks than even Volga Tatars.But its true still different ethnicity. wrong - she's ethnic Tatar. it's just that in Romania they're put together at the census. but Romanian Tatars have no Turkish origin - their origin are Crimean Tatars. Tatars inhabited Dobrudja region even before Vlachs, btw
