i think , and it is valid for many other nationality too , it is because the peruvian women who came in italy has not much money , she came here for that reason , for find a better job ( a better payed job ) .it is not just because the foreiners immigrants women in italy are " opportunist " as this rules is valid even in their own country in most part of case .
it is more acceptable ,socially speaking, that in a couple is the man who take the economic responsability than the woman
a woman who go to marry a poor man is less common ...be male and jobless or poor is socially harder than be a jobless woman or a poor one .
