    -A list has been compiled revealing the most expensive homes around the world that are currently up for sale
    -Topping the list is a unfinished 100,000 square foot resort in Bel Air that has an asking price of $500million
    -Others featured in the top ten include a bubble palace in France, the Playboy mansion and an apartment in London



    1. The Nile Niami Bel Air Spec Home, Los Angeles - asking price $500million



    Sitting on a hilltop with views of the San Gabriel Mountains, LA basin, Beverly Hills and the Pacific Ocean, the Bel Air estate will have five swimming pools, a casino, a nightclub with VIP access, a lounge with jellyfish tanks replacing the walls and ceilings, and many other amenities when completed

    2. Le Palais Bulles, Côte d'Azur - asking price $455million



    The 1,200-square-metre mega-complex in the south of France comes with ten space-aged rooms, three swimming pools, luxurious gardens, an amphitheatre that seats 500 and spectacular views of the Mediterranean.

    Palais Bulles, or Bubble Palace, was once owned by a French industrialist but is now owned by Italian fashion designer Pierre Cardin, who is looking to off-load the property.

    3. Tour Odéon penthouse, Monaco - asking price $330million



    The multi-storey penthouse is located in Tour Odéon, a 560ft tower which is the Mediterranean coastline's second tallest building.

    A super-rich multi-millionaire will get to enjoy this incredible five-floor penthouse which boast a a giant infinity pool and its own slide.

    As well as being equipped with a health centre, multiple swimming pools and an in-house caterer, the building will offer its residents a 24/7 concierge service and a private chauffeur.

    Tour Odéon, with its 70 super-sized flats, is the first new skyscraper to have been built in Monaco since the 1980s.

    4. 18 Carlton House Terrace, London - asking price $330million



    The six-storey Grade I listed Regency mansion is a stone’s throw from Buckingham Palace and boasts 50,000 sq ft of living space, making it one of the capital’s largest private homes.

    The house is registered in the British Virgin Islands and is said to be owned by a member of a Middle East royal family.

    Details on the property's interior are sketchy, but it is believed to boast a magnificent double staircase and huge ballroom.

    The secret brochure apparently shows interior photographs which were taken in the 1890s, because the current owner does not want to advertise the contents of his home for security reasons.


    5. 220 Central Park South penthouse, New York - asking price $250million



    A palatial three floor condominium is to become Manhattan's most expensive home, retailing at a staggering $250 million.

    The 220 Central Park South apartment has 16 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, five balconies and a massive terrace.

    The enormous condo will encompass floors 50 through 53 and will span 23,000 square feet.

    It is scheduled to be completed in 2018 and will boast unrivalled views over Central Park.

    6. The Playboy Mansion, California - asking price $200million



    The five-acre property, in Los Angeles' exclusive Holmby Hills, has played host to thousands of celebrities and beautiful women over the years.

    It features 29 rooms, game house, home theater, wine cellar, gym, tennis court, swimming pool and four-bedroom guest house. It also comes with the notorious cave-like grotto where Playboy bunnies have long frolicked with guests.

    As a condition of the sale, 89-year-old magazine founder Hugh Hefner can continue living there as he has since tookover the company that bought the mansion 45 years ago for just over $1 million

    It is believed that Daren Metropoulos has snapped up the property, a little over six years after he spent $18million on another home in the neighborhood

    7. Admiralty Arch Apartment, London - asking price $200million



    Property hunters keen to own a slice of British history in the heart of London are now able to purchase a serviced apartment in one of London's most iconic addresses.

    With an asking price of $200million, it will have six-metre high ceilings, crests, original fireplaces and fittings from the Edwardian era, with views over The Mall, Trafalgar Square, St. James's Park and Buckingham Palace.

    All residents will have access to the luxury amenities offered by the hotel inside Admiralty Arch, including 24-hour concierge service and security, private off-road valet parking service, private entrance and a lift to the residences, as well as a lifetime membership to the private members' club.

    8. Gemini, Florida - asking price $195million



    A 15.7-acre property just south of Palm Beach, Florida, it has a listing price of nearly $200million.

    Located at 2000 S. Ocean Boulevard, the palatial main residence has 12 bedrooms and a jaw-dropping pool shrouded with lush palm trees at the back.

    A three-story guesthouse, two cottages and manager's home bring the total count up to 33 bedrooms, 34 bathrooms, 13 powder rooms, and nearly 85,000-square-feet of living space in the Palm Beach County town of Manalapan.

    But it's not just the house that makes this property special- the $195million barrier island property includes a 1,200-foot private beach, two golf course practice areas, a botanical garden, a bird sanctuary, butterfly garden, tree house, large-scale model train, and sports complex.

    9. Le Palais Royal, Florida - asking price $159million


    Modelled on the Palace of Versailles in France, Le Palais Royal includes six waterfalls - one of them 25 feet tall - and a marble staircase that cost $2million to build.

    It is located in Hillsboro Beach, Florida and the main house has 11 bedrooms, and the master suite includes a heated plunge pool on the balcony.

    More than $3million worth of gold leaf can be found throughout the elegant abode, which also has an 18-seat IMAX home theater.

    10. Taohuayuan, China - asking price $154million



    Marketed as 'Utopia' which is literally translated as 'Peach Blossom Land', the only Asian property on the list stands on a private island close of Dushu Lake in Suzhou, China.

    It has 32 bedrooms and 32 bathrooms, with each south facing so they receive optimal natrual light.

    It took developers Sunac China a total of three years to build as all the bricks used in the construction were crafted by hand.

    Yeah definitely in the Playboy Mansion. The house doesn't look tacky and vulgar btw. Inside it looks like an old person's house. I was expecting something more trashy.
