Should USA and Canada unite?

Both are Anglo-American countries that share a border, culture, and just have a lot of similarities in general - not to mention both are very close allies.

In such a scenario, I think we should use Canada's name. It would end the whole USA vs. America vs. Americas confusion. Or maybe we could start fresh with a new name for the unified country?

And the capital would be Washington DC.

For one, they'd have the strongest military in the world.

USA and Canada are already very close allies with virtually the same interests so why would it be an issue if they integrated?
