My mother went on a two-week holiday to St Petersburg and Moscow in August this year with her friend, and she sent me a postcard saying she really enjoyed seeing the sites. She said there was lots of American and British tourists there during her visit and that she found the food in the restaurants was 'expensive,' but she said the museums, art galleries, and the tourist sites were beautiful and intriguing.
