You think it makes sense for a bunch of idiots kicking around a ball, to receive some of the biggest salaries in the world? It is capitalism gone mad, not genes, that made them rich and famous. Decades ago athletes did not make anywhere near as much money and they were equally gifted. Were they losers or less worthy?

Does it makes sens for Beyonce to win millions just for singing? For Brad Pitt to earn millions just for acting fool in front of a camera?
Sportmen create a show in there own field. People enjoy it and they are naturrally reward for it.

Howewer, I agree there are too much money in sports.

Watching football(soccer) is boring. Nowadays I watch only "important" games such as ucl semi finals, finals etc and some games at the worl or euro cup, few matches a year. I like to play it myself much more than watch others play. What surprise me is some people are the other way around. I remember I told my friend "come play football with me" and he said he can't because big match is on the screen
