Russians hack US electric network

I'am reading an article in French. Americans accuse russians of hacking the US electric network.

Yeap, the timing is pretty strange. It seems the hack isn't recent but have only been detect recently.

It might be possible that US government order to check all the system after the clinton email hack and they discover it like this. But I doubt it.
More likely russians are for nothing or they know it from a long time and wait the good moment to use it.

The US Govt still hasn't provided credible evidence that the Russians hacked the election. It's all speculation, and the Russians are a convenient suspect.
