Yeah, in fact one of Pakistan's leading TV presenters (I can't remember the person's name) is a transsexual.

There's quite a lot of transgender people in Pakistan, more than the average muslim country.

I think Iran would have been a better fit for the question, since Turkey is between Greece and Iran. I think Turkey is closer to Pakistan culturally than to Egypt.

Wouldn't change the result. Turkey by far closer to Balkans than any other Near Eastern and African country.

Pakistan is not that far from Turkey - the only country that separates the two of them is Iran (which, notwithstanding its regime, actually comes across as more liberal and modern than does much of Pakistan).

Nah , many Turks family here and actually we use Turks words in our accent .. actually the Egyptian accent today (could be a language thought) consisted of many languages (Pharaonic , Coptic,Arabic,Turk,Persian,Greek , English and French) .. i have Turk cousins over here.

Iran borders both Turkey and Pakistan, so you all you need to do is cross Iran to get from one to the other.

Turks are not like any of those people. Turkey is like Central Asia + Balkan with a dash of Iranian, Caucasian, and Arabic (only religion) in terms of culture.

only religion? a lot of turks have Arabic blood and share arabic culture also.
