California and the western area in general. In the PA/Ohio area, they speak English much lazier and drag out the vowels, but with yours, its more clipped.

20-30 $ a month is what I pay too I pay 4,99 € a week thats close to 20 € a month, thats maybe 25 dollars

They think it's disgusting. A burp is no real problem though. You just laugh and say "Excuse me" and all is well.

Is it really easy to join the American army?

Yes. As long as you are a citizen. If you're not obese and can do a pushup and have no real health issues, you're in. Even then, there's different jobs you can choose within the army which have more specific requirements. I'm assuming you're referring to the armed forces in general.
Different branches have different requirements. The marines are harder to get into and with the navy and airforce especially, you have to take tests to show you're at least somewhat intelligent.

You would be clearly seen as a foreigner. Most would say it sounds German.
