Different branches have different requirements. The marines are harder to get into and with the navy and airforce especially, you have to take tests to show you're at least somewhat intelligent.

No wonder you have a big army.

Never went to prom or any dances actually. Many do rent limos though. Girls will spend the week prior tanning and whatnot in order to prepare.

In school, we would often have recruiters come and try to get people to sign up. No one really doubts whether they will get accepted into the army. I had assumed the rest of the world's armed forces weren't so selective.

No one ever asked me. Even if they did, I wouldn't have had the money for a dress and assorted things.
Even if I could, I doubt I'd want to. I'm not much of a people person anymore.

I see. Im similar like you. Eventhough we dont have those proms in high school were you ask out a girl, ours are different. We do have a prom but ours are different, we work at that prom as waiters, and such, i worked in clothing, i took the jackets and coats of the persons arriving and ordered them and took care of it, that was my job.
