Skype loss of contacts?

I didn't log for a long time on Skype then I logged today, I lost all my contacts...Have anyone here had the same case but eventually solved it?

Skype has always had one huge flaw since its very beggining,and it is that it stores most data on the local machine rather than an online server like Facebook,Viber and Messenger does,so if you get on from another computer thats very likely to happen.

Skype is just a really shoddy program and has been for a long time. I stopped using it a while ago because of how many problems unreliable it was. Then I logged on Skype to check on something a month or so ago and most of my contacts were gone. It's the program, must be.

I can't even make the updatte. It fail without any reasons...

I will try to see tomarrow. There I can't understand. I try on two different computers and both block.
