It seems like everyone in north America finds something they need meds for if they look hard enough..... We all get down from time to time, I don't see the need for anti-depressants...

Especially when he claims to not be depressed, but just wants a "mood lift". I dont think he knows how they work.

Well then how do you get them? They were clearly not made for you, do you acquire them illegally=

My doctor has prescribed me a psychostimulant called Dextroamphetamine. I am taking it for my "ADHD" I take it to excel at my studies. The rest are antidepressants that I take to keep my mood high and motivated.

I don't actually have any illness, I am just taking these drugs for their therapeutic benefits (on a normal person like me).

It is understandable if you are diagnosed with ADHD and you need that drug to excel your studies. But screwing with your pineal gland without a need won't bring you any good in the long run.

Why not just take crack cocaine or heroin? Then you can dwell in a high mood all day long

I currently take 3mg of 'Risperdal'... and I used to also take 1mg of Ativan along with the Risperdal which one of my doctors discontinued.

I also take those 'One-A-Day' men's vitamin supplements.

Have you considered taking Abilify (Aripriprazole)? It is a dopamine partial agonist, instead of your antagonist. Abilify competes with dopamine for dopamine receptors almost equally, but the intrinsic activity of Abilify is less than that of dopamine. If dopamine is 100% activation, Abilify might activate it say 60% (I don't really know these statistics, just giving an example). Abilify is also a serotonin type 1A receptor partial agonist. This might be the main reason why it is sometimes used as a treatment for depression, when the regular antidepressants don't work well enough on their own. Abilify has probably the best profile of side effects, when it comes to neuroleptics in general.
