    Not my religion.
I don't know of any Christian sect that rejects the Old Testament. Early Christians understood that unless they bridge the New Testament with the Old they couldn't claim there was a new covenant. A Christian can not ignore the OT but they pick and choose the parts of it they like and ignore the rest and understandably so. The rest is bat-shit crazy for someone in 2016. There are death sentences for a number of minor infractions. I can't imagine they were applied to the letter but it is in the OT.

I think I could have been defined as an atheist for a short time of my life, maybe part of the time when I was in a highschool if I remember correctly. But, I was drawn to Christianity and over the years my connection just grew stronger. Obviously nobody can severe my bond with it just like that, with a few words. What you see a self deception I see years of growing wisdom.
Fortunately for me in my high school year of high school the focus was entirely on the OT. I enjoyed it cuz it had awesome stories about battles, banging chicks, and people with super human powers but it was also shockingly sadistic and arbitrary. God is kinda of an asshole and has some real insecurity issues. At least in the OT anyway. God appears to have chilled out.

Your obsession with getting one on me is such that you interpret me telling someone of your motivation for constantly trying to have at me is that you have a grudge against me. It's because at your core you are a worthless, bitter shadow of a man, and I remind you of that for a few reasons. However, while it is annoying, I am also happy to know that I give your otherwise empty life and being something to hold on to.
You mentioned a personal problem and so I brought him up to show a difference between personal and ideological. Hopefully you two settled who lied about the other backing down.

You make many outlandish and hypocritical statements through out the forum. You're no different than the other posters I mock regularly for doing the same. They all think they're special in my eyes also. They're only aware of themselves. Ironically what you accuse me one can see in you with how you behave with many of the forum posters and particularly women for some odd reason (not so odd; it's ideological).

Didn't we already have this conversion? New, old, new, old, new, old, new, old. What is there to tell when people don't understand two simple words? What do you mean by rejection? The OT is a part of the Bible for various reasons, it leads to the NT, but it is replaced by the NT. The OT laws were there for Jews, the NT laws are laws set by Jesus for everyone to follow. It is clear as a day. But if some Christians live according to the OT that is their problem, not the problem of Christianity.

Science is love.... science is life...

“The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.”

Scientific approach can be defined as a form of reasoning without as many fallacies as possible, in other words, a way how to avoid beliefs based on unsound arguments. So, by definition, every approach to attain knowledge which doesn't fit it is somehow flawed (even if it leads to correct conclusions). There's not really much more to that.

Yes, absolutely. It is the only way to understand and benefit from the Universe we live in.
