Expediting shipping costs too much for me. I contacted the support team a couple of days ago and this is what they said:
Thanks for contacting us. International shipping can take several weeks. Typically the next step after leaving Chicago is to clear Customs in the destination country. We're going to go ahead and mail you a replacement kit just in case the original has been lost. It could still be clearing Customs, so if you do end up receiving both the original and the replacement, go ahead and discard one of those kits instead of sending both back to us.

Does it still take very long for the kit to arrive when shipped to Europe? I ordered one 11 days ago and have yet to receive it.

I didn't receive one. All I know it was sent on the 7th, since that's what I read when I logged into the FTDNA site. Two weeks still haven't passed so I guess I have no reason yet to worry, I was just curious because, as we can see, some of the older posts here claim it took them basically a month for the kit to arrive.
