That's a good question indeed. I regard our modern republic of Armenia to be part of South Caucasus and Transcaucasus, but the ancestors of the Armenian people were the natives of East Anatolia, Caucasus, and even Mesopotamia.

I personally don't regard any part of the Caucasus to be Europe. For me they are a bridge between East and West. Caucasus is at the crossroads of civilizations.
