Just came across this girl who is a Traveller. Her name is Sarah Jane Dunne






She was a maths and religious teacher and got a degree from Trinity. She is the daughter of the late Pecker Dunne, a gifted traditional musician, story teller and activist who played with The Dubliners, Christy Moore and The Fureys.

She is the sort of woman that these young traveller girls should be looking up to. I love hearing stories like this because some groups like the Travellers do get a lot of negative attention and we should hear more of these types of stories.
