Short history of sanxhak.
Today, the majority of Bosniaks are Sunni Muslim and adhere to the Hanafi school of thought, the largest and oldest school of Islamic law in jurisprudence within Sunni Islam. Some in this region are Albanian by ethnicity and live in villages (Boroštica, Doliće, Ugao) located in the Pešter region. They have adopted a Bosniak identity in censuses, due to past sociopolitical discrimination against Albanians in the former Yugoslavia after World War Two.Should we really elaborate this issue more, tin foil hat fools? Also interesting how this so-called Bosniaks have magically more presence to south bordering Albanian lands while their presence in north bordering Bosnia is virtually absent, how is this possible. Two thirds of Sandžak Bosniaks trace their ancestry to the regions of Montenegro proper, from Malesia, region inhabited by Albanians.

More appropriate question which should be asked and whom sanxhaki people consider a national hero is, who was Akif Efendia? Another fake Bosniak or plain and simple an Albanian....I'm really interested to know your answer about this.
Ofc Alija Izetbegovic was Bosniak, but not related to them by blood and history solely by name and religion.

Maybe I should, even though maybe I shouldn't go to Novi Pazar but ask them here where I reside, lots of cars with Novi Pazar tables coming here for a visit, shopping or family reunion.........Some are partially aware that they have Albanian in woodpile but not entirely know that their whole family tree stems from Albanians of northern tribes who sporadically intermingled with Slavic women, self identification can be changed depending the situation, circumstances, so that's not a guarantee.
