Nowadays with the internet and all there is less motivation for immigrants to integrate.

A Pakistani or a Pole or a Greek can communicate with his family in his home country, listen to radio and watch tv channels in his own language and translate texts with google translate.

They should learn Hindi to spite the Pakistani. Learning a language is never a bad idea. Of course, this weird proposal is all for attention. If one genuinely clashes with a culture it's often not out of blind bigotry. It wouldn't aid integration that much I'm afraid. But sure, it doesn't harm to learn Polish or Urdu.

German is a language spoken by a country full of corrupt politicians anyway.

I know you're joking but learning Hindi and learning Urdu is the same thing, the differences in Hindi and Urdu are similar to the differences in Serbian and Croatian. Also, most Pakistanis speak Punjabi.

Exactly my point. Urdu-speaking Pakistani all watch cheesy Bollywood films, but I assume it's spoken differently so it would still spite them a bit.

It depends on the situation of the family. Its very rare for someone to be raised in USA and not know English. The only people I met that didn't speak English were some Hispanics and Chinese that were recent migrants (maybe some were illegal) and didn't get educated in the US.

They learn German or Spanish or French because those countries are attractive in terms of either finding a job or going for vacation since those countries are pretty developed and close by. They have no incentive to learn non-Western languages.

Emphasis on Brit. They would impress me if they'd succeed.
