    I think my description above is the most accurate for Sicily. There is almost no foreign input in Catania and Messina, a fairly large amount of Greek in SE Sicily, and then everywhere else has minor input either MENA or Norman.

    la stragrande maggioranza delle persone non è particolarmente interessata alla cultura degli altri popoli , a prescindere dalla regione . La gente pensa solo al lavoro , a costruirsi una famiglia e preferisce spendere il proprio tempo con cose più "frivole" (andare al cinema, discoteca, uscire con gli amici, andare al ristorante con il proprio compagno, giocare con i propri figli, "fare sesso" ecc. ) piuttosto che stimolare la propria mente approfondendo la propria cultura su un qualsiasi argomento .

    Ovviamente i "weaboo" (non mi riferisco solo a chi è ossessionato con la cultura giapponese, lo ho virgolettato perché non trovo una parola migliore da attribuire a questo gruppo di persone) esistono ovunque ma sono solo una ristretta minoranza.
