Never existed more than 400 templar knights in "holy land", but even in this low number they are feared by their enemies. it only shows the how powerful were these warriors.

What about the Northern Crusades then? White Christians vs. White Pagans.

Are you crazy? I'm sure there was an element of race in the crusades but mainly it was because of Islamic expansion. I know you will not admit this because of your background, but Muslim or not, how could you support the nature of Islamic expansion that happened before the crusades but demonize crusades when both were filled with atrocities?? Makes no sense to me. If you are a Muslim but consider yourself level-headed you should admit the truth and not praise what happened in Islamic expansion, including the rape and murder of many people. These are facts that have been recorded. Islamic expansion/The crusades, what's the difference? Except, the crusades had a less significant genetic impact. Maybe because it was a mini version of what the Muslims did?

First of all Byzantines were not more or less European than the Crusaders, also, not only some participated and there is a thread about it in TA, but also they were the reason to start the crusades

Maronites participated since the First Crusade in 1096.

Before the fall of Jerusalem, nobody spoke Arabic in the Holy Land. The last Patriarch of Jerusalem was Sophronios, who certainly, was not an Arab and did not speak Arabic.

Heraclius’ Byzantine army fighting the Muslims in the Battle of Yarmouk did not consist of solely Arab Christians (Ghassanids), but also of Slavs, Franks, Georgians and Armenians.
