Jamaican accents have a lot of Irish influence.... they both have a rhotic R sound and I've heard some Irish people pronounce 'thirty-three' as 'ter-tee tree' ... just like Jamaican people. Jamaicans also like Baileys and other Irish drinks.

they do and the vast majority have irish ancestry but remember we are talking about Black Jamaicans and their African origin, i wouldnt even say 25% i would say well over 90% of Jamaicans are mixed with Irish but they have more African blood and some Jamaicans are 80%+ African. Its like Dominican Republic the vast majority are blacks & mulattoes with a small white minority

and i have a whole thread on the origin of the caribbean english dialect and where it came from, it came from Southern Ireland (cork being an example) and has a lot of gaelic influences, as a matter of fact of a jamaican goes to cork they would be taken as a local by outsiders due to the strong similarities and sometimes even the locals themselves but from a distant village or town of southern ireland
