That's in general true. By east African I assume you mean the horn? Not even accounting for attractiveness. Both these women are considered attractive so let's compare.

You can see the Ethiopian portraying a nasal bridge that's more prominent, clearly separated from the rest of the face and that stretches from the tip of her nose to her browridge pretty much. Lupita portrays a more depressed nasal bridge that doesn't separate well from the rest of the face. Basically if the two faces were legos, the nose of the Ethiopian looks like a separate piece, while Lupita's nose looks like one with her face. The nostrils of the ethiopian are narrower and show the typical caucasoid "teardrop shape". Basically this:

The fat distribution in Lupita also gives a less "fine" look but this is mostly found in Bantu people, not in Nilotic, whom often have a fat distribution that creates a sharper look. Overall the nasal shape, bigger lips and fat distribution creates a finer look in horners and many east Africans such as the Sudanese arabs.
