Im barely an immigrant and moreso a social observer and real world anthropologist that think outside the box.

Pretty much nailed it, but I'd rather say it's about biological instincts and masculinity. Masculine refugees are a threat to the males of the home country, they are fertile and agressive which is perceived as a threat, fuels frustration and leads to hatred.
