Even given the coal business will not be revived, many high-tech chemical industries also produce toxic pollutants which are difficult to monitor don`t let the thugs sneak poisons into your plates. If the american system is still in good shape, Trump will get enough lawsuits to force him to adopt a normal way of running economy for America. Communists are known to be vainglorious in attaining whatever they see as the "GREAT GOAL", they are proned to delusional GREATNESS, by which they are compulsed to behave in fanatic pursue of merits. It will not take too long to ruin the whole environment for you americans, if Trump did bring in asian companies under loose Trump regulatory system, in 4 years you will get 1970 smog again or worse.

If US elites think they can no longer run oil-money so they had to adopt chinese strategy, they should play otherwise like reducing abortion through incentives for birth, better educations, attracting wealthy foreigners to invest in hightech under strict regulations. Nobody really love chinese style including the communist themself, please.

I have a relative that visited China for work and went with him. The safety regulations at the dockyards we were at were completely criminal, people would die in the open and my relative told me that the state didn't care. Also, the inconsistency of chinese businessmen was legendary but that was mostly because they had learned to deal with the state that demanded bribes and had backalley deals all the time. Chinese-americans refuse to work with them and Singaporeans/Hong Kong people fear them worse than the devil.

Btw, isn't the fanatical pursue of merits typical of chinese culture? I remember reading Sanguozhi and some Tang and Song histories and the entire confucian philosophy of the upstanding chinese gentleman was intense study for academic success as a gateway to the civil service.And from then on the grind just continued.

Chinese companies are the least committed to either social and environmental responsibilities, there is a study about how chinese logging companies illegally destroy forestation in Africa circumventing all environmental responsibilities. Just try to google "Illegal Logging China". So onlookers may accuse me of betraying my “nation”, but they are destroying my hometown, spilling poisonous wastes here, and there is absolute media silence. Safety regulations will be up to law enforcement by the local administration of where they invest, they will never bring up safety or environmental standard or norms on their initiative. I am not sure if USA will be habitable when Trump mutes EPA and brings in chinese/taiwanese companies. You will have to make sure all the law enforcement and regulations are vigilant and uncompromised.

Why even make more land for factory plants, Trump is going nuts when he compromised US regulations in order to increase job opportunities.

Trump is talking about lifting sanction on Russia, now Russia has missiles in its exclave Kaliningrad, its not giving up its status quo as superpower in Soviet times. The sanction against Russia needs to persist untill 2060 at least. Just to get a picture, go to their(my) countries for long enough time, their belligrent propagandas are so dangerous and scary.
