Default The diversity of Iberian languages through cartoons

So there seems to be a lot of confusion around here about the different languages of Iberia, how they sound and how they differ from one another. I have been trying to find similar or the same exact songs sang in each Iberian language but I couldn't find them (very unlikely). Then it hit me...cartoons. Cartoons usually have the same intros and it's a great way to compare different languages, specially when they all might sound quite similar to foreigners. Hopefully this will help you to get to know a little bit more about the differences in them. Some languages are missing (or I couldn't find the song), but I focused on the major languages of Iberia.

As a Portuguese speaker, these are the ones that sound the most familiar to me (in this particular order):

    1. Galego
    2. Castellano
    3. Català
    4. Euskara

Basque language (euskara) is the only one that I don't understand anything at all (I think I understood 1 word, lol). The accent sounds familiar though, similar to other Iberian languages accents. The words or whatever they are saying doesn't sound familiar at all though, completely different.

People who can speak Portuguese or Spanish (or any other Iberian language) which languages do you find more familiar and easy to understand in these videos?

You felt that way because the Galician version has the same lyrics has the Brazilian one, lol. Did you enjoy the Basque lyrics?

Brazilian version, 100% understandable like the European version, just different accent.

There is also Valenciano language which people usually tend to forget:

To me it is sounds quite similar to Català.

Nah, not only because of it. I can fully understand the portuguese version also. I do watch SIC sometimes

Basque sounds very different of the rest as it should be. Anyways, I got "Son Goku" at some point, lol

The most similar to me are:
    1-Galician
    2-Castellano
    3-Catalá
4-Basque (I did not understand nothing, but it sounded familiar).

    Basically, the same as yours.

I feel the same about Basque, which is odd since it is not an Indo-European language and it's not related at all with all the other languages. Yet the accent just sounds familiar, lol.
