Online shopping blows

The store I work at is closing and one of the reasons people gave was that everyone was just shopping online instead.
Why?
I paid 99 dollars for a years subscription to Amazon Prime because you supposedly got free two day shipping yet half the items I've order did not arrive within two days.Often, the same item will be sold with and without "free" two day shipping available, the Amazon Prime one is often a few dollars more in price,about the cost for shipping.
It's touted as being more "convenient" as opposed to going to a regular store yet I fail to see why that is. Unlike online, you can actually see something, touch it,try it on and get it immediately and without shipping fees as opposed to having to wait often a week or more. Where is the convenience?
Not to mention it's nice to go into a real store and interact with people.

Yes, oh god yes. Literally the bane of my existence. I lose my fucking mind in those demonic establishments. Completely unhinged the instant foot is set inside, can't even think.

Wider selection online than in brick and mortar shops, especially when you have strange tastes like mine, so most of the things you want aren't usually in stock at a physical location.

For a son with his mother... yes... it's too much to ask of someone. I think I broke down crying once because I thought it would never end. In fact, if there is a hell and I end up there that will be my hell. An eternity of being dragged around by my mother through Macy's, Sears, etc.
