That's true, but all western religions (means western side of planet, not euro western only) share one thing in common; Philosophy on west developed as AN ANSWER to religions, and that is very symptomatic. From Ancient Greece till today all of western legacy in Philosophy (from major Philosophical ppl) were in fact against western religions, except Saint Augustine book "God's state".

In every other case on western side of planet we have Philosophy as arch nemesis to western Religions, why?

I will tell you why, because western religions never had any true spirituality in them, neither did western Philosophy, while on Far East it is a different case; In far East Spirituality and Philosophy are same thing, they didn't even named Philosophy there as philosophy or any other similar term because there was no need too.

That is a major difference between western and eastern side of planet considering mind-set.

And I would defend the claim that western side of planet (our side) never had any sort of true spirituality what so ever, neither in any of religions or philosophy, not to mention Philosophy (from Greek school to German school).

In the start we have in western side of planet that Philosophy is coming as rival to any religion, an issue which is not an accident for sure, and it says a lot both about religions and philosophy from our side of the planet.

I admire much more to Far East spirituality/philosophy (there, that is one and the same) than ours in western side of planet.

Implying Christianity is not cultic, imperalist and rife with politics

Islam is influenced by platonism too, by the way

The intention of Lord of the Rings (entertainment) is distinctly different from religious (Bible) and spiritual writing. Religion often has the primary objective and motivation toward morals, ethics, justice, fairness, right and wrong, law, and how people ought to live life and toward which pursuits and ideals. LOTR cannot compare in this regard, despite any similarities of allegory or metaphor.

This is not moral and true moral never had anything to do with religions in the first place.
That is why Western societies have separated Church (morality) and State (ethics) because the two sometimes work apart, not always together. When a society is immorality, a lack of religion and spirituality is the probable cause. Modern western societies demonstrate this very problem. A lack of morality and spiritual strength in western countries correspond with degeneracy, hedonism (pro-gay, pro-promiscuity, etc), obesity, autism, and many other social illnesses.
