That doesn't mean they're mentally weak. Men who go to war tend to suffer greatly from it mentally, it doesn't mean they're weak because of it. You simply have a very distorted image of what strength and weakness is.

Generally, war is for men. The Prophet said that jihad for women is that which there is no fighting. However, there are exceptions and sometimes women do fight. For example, Umm Sulaym fought side by side with the Prophet after the men ran away from battle and abandoned him. She was fierce and even suggested that these men be killed, but the Prophet responded that Allah's forgiveness is immense.

He's tall and muscular, so I doubt it would be easy for someone to reach and pull his hair. The Vikings kept their hair long and they managed through rough storms while rowing for months across freezing cold seas before raiding places.

A well-kept beard is OK if you just sit around on a boat all day looking at dolphins instead of doing real work like the marines, air force or army (and don't need to shave for the purposes of putting on gas masks to combat actual live enemy*) but as people have said what kind of officer has long hair? It's actually pushing the limits of acceptability for women in the services, even. He also should not be publicising his status as a member of the military online next to photos of his face.

But like I say, 10/10. He should quit the navy and do something more suited to him.

What happened to your beard, it seems to have vanished? Or did you grow it back? Well-kept beards are fine, oiled and combed. But I like mine untrimmed, about 5 years now. Women tell me it's ugly, and to trim the long strands of hair because my beard is uneven. I never listen. I like to keep it natural.

Women really have no business in actual combat unless the only other option is death.

At this point women aren't allowed in combat roles in the UK so this is more than slightly off-topic.
