Princess Charlotte of Cambridge was born on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015. The bells of Westminster Abbey rang out on Bank Holiday Monday to mark the royal birth.
Have the bells of Westminster Abbey rang when other royal births had occurred? For example, did the bells ring after each of Queen Victoria's nine children was born?

For 1000 years, Westminster Abbey is where England's Kings, Queens, Princesses, and Princes have been buried and interred in tombs inside the abbey after their death, as well as where they are coronated and crowned, and where the royals are wedded.

There's a world-class interior, astounding medieval craftsmenship, incredibly old objects, a load of monuments, poets corner, and countless other beautiful things.

During an excavation and restoration project, this video shows royal tombs and oil paintings.... and a sacred floor that was uncovered and had not been seen for a century. It's also known as 'The House of Kings'.
