China or India? Which country do you like the most?

India. Chinese are too sneaky and always want to 'befriend' everyone. Indians are more genuine. Also, Indians are risk takers whereas Chinese are disciplined rote learners. Political correctness sucks and Chinese culture is also about PC censorship. Think LKY.

I am quite a bit stereotypical here. In truth I get along with both, yet I consider both Chinese as Indians quite foreign. Reason I pick India here is because people underestimate Indians versus Chinese. It's myself being 'contrary' more than anything.

LOL. Indians (some of them at least) may be kind to animals, but certainly not to other humans. The caste system is still often practiced especially in the countryside. The poverty in India is many times worse than in China, with far less widespread access to healthcare, education, housing etc. India may be a 'democracy', but the corruption is phenomenal and the Indian police and army can be just as brutal as their Chinese counterparts when they want to be.

I would have a hard time living in either country because of cultural differences but I don't dislike either India or China. Maybe I feel a bit more aversion towards India when I hear about sanitary conditions and the recent rape-epidemic. But I think the country has great potential and I wish all the best for them.

And Im pretty sure anybody here who has been to both countries would generally like China more.

I like both, two of my favourite cultures i take interest in. Im against a competition of the two but would prefer if they join forces, i wont vote because there is no option "both equally"

China is generally a pretty modern country, and it probably takes less getting used to for a Westerner than traveling in India. India may be more interesting though as a lot of traditional China was destroyed by decades of Communist rule, and it is over-industrialized in many ways. Chinese cities are usually very modern and fun however, and it is very convenient to get around as the public transportation is very clean, world class and extensive. Also, crime is low and it is very safe to go around, even for single women. The cities are very vibrant and offer a great deal of shopping and entertainment options.

I imagine India would be a lot more challenging, but it's a very unique civilization nonetheless and may be a more interesting trip. But if you're talking about day to day amenities, China is way more comfortable for sure.
