Default Official Global Destination Cities Index Top Ten Most Visited Cities For 2016 Results

Bangkok came first, London came second, (which was officially voted as the most fun city in Europe by TripAdvisor with over 300 tourist attractions and over 70 world cuisines available in one large city,) and Paris came third in the world with international tourists last year.

The full top ten cities results for 2016 are here: http://www.cntraveler.com/galleries/...kok-new-york/1

I expect extra visitors through London's numerous airports and St. Pancras International undersea rail station this year - as London has won the international bid to host the 2017 World Athletic Championships.

London and New York City are the only two cities in the world that hold Alpha++ status, but Paris is an Alpha+ city.

Strange list. Seoul? Kuala Lumpur? Bangkok on first? The first not geographically related thing that comes to my mind when I hear about Bangkok is "One Night in Bangkok" by Murray Head. Surprising list, however it's good to know where are too many people for me and which places I should avoid.

Nothing, it is commonly known that people just love to pick the same random places on the map and visit them. Exactly same places. It's normal.
