Japan and Germany all have territories occupied by Russia, and they badly want back: Kiril Islands and Konigburg. The worst thing Russia has done recently is interfering into Syria militarily. However, only from this Crimea affair we know the complexity of the Russian Factor in recent World Wars and we are witnessing it unfolding into a major global diplomatic and political controversy. For me, I see that Russia has been a major contributor to the fear of war ever since 1850s. The Crimea problem will be pretty hard to understand in the light of post-WWII convention of evil VS justice, there is a true confusion among citizens except for russians which are about sacrifice anything to ensure their power presence. I just hope the war will not happen again, because it will set off a global massacre worse than anytime in the past and none of us ordinary folk on TA will survive. And the last unheard news will be for the eastern camp because, the West will surely win in spite of the huge cost, if the East still has some humanity left, they should avoid a new world war by their own initiative.

ok but i know that muslims thought of russia as traditional enemy because of chechens, and muslims in russia and turkic tribes etc. and generally as imperialist christian power. they also hate usa, india, israel, serbia etc.

Well, technically, China doesn't oppress them for being Muslims, but to curb separatism in the region. Uighurs aren't allowed the same privileges as say the Hui who are loyal to China are. Similar case with Tibetans I guess.

Interfering into Syria militarily gave Russia a reason never to step down from Syria and surely will not step down from other spots of conflicts in Ukrain and Crimea. Just like tossing a human prey for a tiger which never tasted a man, now he gets a taste for human flesh.

Aleppo is under ceasefire, it is very good, afterwards, UN needs to step in. Russia needs stop right there.
