You're god damn right I didn't want to say it to sound pretentious haha
They are a bit outsiders, I admit it, I also see them as a bit different from us. But to be fair, they are also very unknown because they are not numerous at all, small population and diaspora.Lybians are different culturally and genetically I don't see them really amazigh unlike algerians and moroccans
But I met Libyans and they definitely show affinities with us, they are Imazighen for sure genetically/culturally, many of them speak Tamazight but they are more related to Egyptians compared to the rest of NorthWest Africans, for sure.
Moroccans/Algerians/Tunisians are more related/connected to each other.

Touaregs and other Berbers living in the south (in Fezzan), okay. But the rest of them were urbanized since Carthaginian and Roman times. Tripolitania and Cyrenaica (associated with Crete) were Roman provinces. Ancient Egyptians lived in cities too.
I wonder where Gaddafi's "5 stars neo-nomadism" came from.

They are more related to maghrebians (egyptian make me laugh when he says they are not part of Maghreb, I would say only the west is maghrebian) but they are very arabized probably more than egyptians a lot of them will say that they belong to a arab tribe even it's not true
