Prince Eugene of Sweden (1865-1947) was the son of King Oscar II and Queen Sofia of Sweden. He was first trained in painting by Hans Gude and Wilhelm von Gegerfelt. Prince Eugene painted landscapes.

Prince Eugene was born a Prince of Sweden.
His father Oscar II was King of Sweden from 1872 to 1907.
Oscar II had four sons:
1. Prince Gustaf
2. Prince Oscar
3. Prince Carl (Charles)
4. Prince Eugene
