What we call kebab here in Greece is this:



Which isn't the kebab in its usual form, which in it's turn is like gyros (although it's served differently from gyros).

But I usually eat it with pork meat. It's quite good.

The difference to the Oriental Kebab is, that Greeks use often pork or a mix of beef with pork.

People from the Middle East use a mix of beef with lamb.

Kebab came to Greece from two different sources, the first were Anatolian Greeks and the second were
Greeks from Egypt.

the only places where kebabs seems to be ok are in germany and Belgium, the rest based on what I saw look disgusting

Does it have carrots, raisins and meat in it ? You need to try so many other dishes . I know I'm biased but imo it's the best food in the world.

In Uruguay we have just a few restaurants with true arab/middle eastern food.

I tried their food when I traveled to Europe, it was yummy.

Travelling to Europe to eat Mena food, LEL, you sound very smart.
