Btw. I would call Miloš Forman a hardcore Czech patriot. Even his US movies were made cooperation with Czech people.

His "official" Czech father (a teacher and a member of a Czech Nazi resistance to German Nazi occupation) Rudolf Forman with his Czech mother Anna died in a concentration camp.
The name of his possible biological Jewish father was Otta Kohn (died 1965 in New York), a Czech Jewish architect.
After parents death he raised in his uncle's (a brother of his "official" father) family.
