Poles they look a bit different than the Russians. Admixture ugro-Finnish is clearly visible in the Russians. Poles are more phenotypically shifted towards central Europe.

If we're talking about very close countries, the amount of overlap is far greater than the difference between them. I'd be willing to bet that nobody could sort pictures of Brits vs. French with accuracy much better than guessing. You all think you could, but you couldn't.
