It's totally plausible and should be relatively easy to confirm, at least in terms of the internet.

Trump sure has received a lot of publicity since his campaign began.

The best part about it is that most of that publicity was negative, aimed at discrediting him, and it failed miserably, but they won't give up. They somehow believe that the average voters who are sick of the mainstream and even alternative media are going to start paying attention if they keep attacking Trump.

I think some of that negative publicity has had the exact opposite effect of what its authors intended. The more the media hates on Trump, the more his supporters like and even have sympathy for him. Let's face it - he was never given a chance. The media have run a bitter campaign against him, unlike anything I have seen before. It's a non-stop concerted attack, picking everything his says to pieces and full of speculation and unverified reports from supposed inside sources which are probably bullshit. You don't need a university degree to see it.
