Nope but it definitely broadens your shoulders. Infact, most long-time swimmers do have wide shoulders....which I find pretty unattractive on a woman.

This is true, in fact shoulders and chest togethar becomes truly developed, that's why swimming is one of the healthiest sports/hobbies ever. Also about shoulders and chest, it's also good if a male was training in high school or college; rowing.
