Because of all Atlanto (Atlantid, AtlantoMed, Nord Atlantid) people in Italy, which Germany doesn't have as many as UK have them.

Overall I think It's closer to UK by comparison, but as I've said; Italy don't need comparison to anyone, everyone should compare themselves with Italy .

And not only about people, but about cultural legacy, civilizational legacy etc..., Italy is second to none about all this, 70% of all european culture is in Italy. Trust me, this is not egoism, just fact.

They seem a bit closer to Germans than to Brits. Don't get me wrong, I agree with you, there IS atlanto-like ppl in N-Italy who could pass as british, but there's a lot of Alpine and some Dinaric too. Let's say that a very depigmented Iberian would look british, but a north italian in the same case would look more germanic/scando, both with variations of course.

Returning to the thread's subject, the answer is clearly Nope. Italians range from French/Swiss/Austrian-like to Greek/Cyprian-like in appearance.

This is Sardinian traditional clothing, not south Italian, Sardinian clothing is unique, it has nothing in common with other traditional clothing of the Italian peninsula, which looks totally different.
