When I say 'fine wine' I don't mean physically obviously. As I said before, women are more attracted to a man for who he is and a man keeps growing in his abilities, status, etc. All of which takes time to build. Notice how many older women are so spiteful and angry when they see a younger woman with an older man, while men don't speak ill of the guy. These older women know they can't compete with the younger woman and so they resent her. They feel as if these women are stepping out of their bounds and going after the guy who at 18 was a nobody struggling to pay through school to... 30 years later... an older gentleman who makes good money because of the experience, skills, and consequently the wealth he's acquired over 3 decades. At 18 he could barely pay rent along with his 3 roommates but at 48 he's living the good life and who ever is attached to him at 48 lives that good life as well.
When a woman says her husband is a doctor other women go 'wow!' When a man says his wife is a doctor men say 'okay, and?' Men don't get off on a woman's status. It hurts her romantic life if she's well accomplished in that men who aren't as accomplished get putt off and so these women need to find someone who has an equally impressive career or more so.
Moving on: Find an actress at the same age as Johnny Depp and his ex-wife. Are they with far much younger bucks (20 year difference or more) or with men their age or older? There are few men around who dream of 54 year old Demi Moore.

This photo made me chuckle: there are four women clearly visible in that photo. Three clearly 50+ year old women and one 20-something. Now... which one is Mel Gibson (60s) sitting next to?
It's simply the way it is. Meryl Streep (60s) doesn't have a 20-something year old husband sitting next to her for a reason.
You want to marry this old lady because you can have great conversations with her?

Its always the same story with men.
We care about them, we try to attract their attention using stupid strategies to make them jealous or ignoring them 1 afternoon (the best we can do, for us ignorance is impossible + every single man we met for us is our future husband) when they do not want to give us attention for the sake of their ego.
Women are so predictable, women have no problem with giving attention to men, we give attention to people all our lives. Some women also really have zero pride/dignity, you can treat her so bad, she will still look after you.
In fact, men also enjoy attention, they like to be admired and it gets worse with time in a very individualist/materialist society, some of them are real divas.
The thing is women finally get bored one day by their irritating behaviour of a willful child, a man who will give us attention will always win.
Men who refused the idea of giving attention may enjoy the idea of dominating a woman shortly, they think they win but at the end, they loose. Most of them, when realizing we do not give a shit about them anymore, come after us, beg us to still give them attention but it's too late.
They finish single at 35/40, they ll have adventures but it will end always for the same reason. They finish bitter and with a complex against women when the only thing they had to do is to put aside their ego a little bit. Not saying you have to be a
cute little puppie because women dont take seriously men who are too nice.
But we can't exchange roles, men give attention to women and seduce them, women accept the game by giving men attenion too, this is how things work. They need to deal with it or they will loose again and again and again...
