You dont know that lol, what you know is R1a come from Asia and you were hunter gatherer, while J2b1>PH4306 originated and expanded in Fertile Crescent and we were early farmers.

J2 is charcteristic for norther mountanious region.
J1 for south, and today >80% in Sumer is J1, and
we know, that at the times of Abraham it probably
was also. Of course they could be total different hg.
    But J2 seems really unlikely.

    And what?

p.s. all hgs "originated" in Iraq, so, it means nothing.

And what? It means since time it originated and expanded to today, we find it in that area and it has biggest diversity in area of Fertile Crescent.
So going by logic it most likely took part in all civilizations that were in that Area. Incl Babylonians, Assyrians, and others.

I dont know what you talking about, but im talking about J2b1, we come out of J2b 15 000 years ago. Having origin and first expansion in that area also biggest diversity today pretty much seals the deal.
I dont say that Sumer was J2b1, they like all others for sure had more haplogroups, and haplotypes but what i say is since j2b1 was born and expanded in Fertile Crescent and still exists there, there is big possibility that it took part in all these civilizations.

Also people living today there having mostly J1 does not mean anything lol. You need to know how history events took part in that area to understand these things.
