And modern liberalism is more of the same thing but that you can practice your rights as long as it doesn't infringe on other peoples rights. Its not truly egalitarian. Communism is more truly egalitarian to a fault. It measures fairness too much by equality. In reality most things are not equal and so some have worse luck and harder lives then others.

It is wrong in reality. But its good for society. To have some basic rights with laws that help try to protect some of these rights. This is mainly why we have societies.
Its probably controversial but society probably has slowed down biological evolution. Our cultural evolution replaces our need to biologicly evolve as it gives us the ability to manipulate our environment to our liking.
